Vestara
Privacy Policy
Effective August 27, 2026
The short version: Vestara has no accounts, no ads, no analytics trackers, and does not sell data. Your birth details stay on your device. The only thing that ever leaves your phone is the text you choose to send when you request an AI answer or a paid reading — and it is used solely to generate that response.
Who we are
Vestara is an astrology app for iPhone, operated by an independent developer. Contact: qoo19890605@outlook.com.
What stays on your device
- Your birth details (date, time, and place of birth) are stored locally on your iPhone and are used to compute your chart on the device itself.
- Your preferences (appearance, notification choices, remaining credits) are stored locally.
- Daily notifications are scheduled by iOS on your device. We do not run a push server and cannot see when or whether you read them.
We do not require or offer an account, so none of this is linked to your identity. Deleting the app deletes this data.
What is sent off your device, and why
Two features work by sending a request to our server (a Cloudflare Worker operated for Vestara):
- Ask — when you ask a question, the question text, de-identified chart inputs, the day's sky information, and an installation-level session identifier are sent to our server, which forwards the request to DeepSeek, an independent third-party AI processor, to compose the answer.
- Readings — when you purchase a reading, your chart details are sent to our server to generate the report.
The session identifier exists for daily fair-use rate limiting. It is kept in rate-limit storage on a per-day basis and expires after that window; it is not linked to your name or any account — we don't have accounts — and is not used to identify you.
These requests are transmitted over HTTPS, are used only to generate your response, and are never used for advertising, profiling, or sale to anyone. Because requests pass through Cloudflare and DeepSeek, those providers may process or retain request data under their own service, security, and retention practices; we do not maintain an account-based history of your questions.
Purchases
Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. Purchase receipts are validated to unlock what you bought, and refunds and subscription management are handled through your Apple account.
Third parties we rely on
- Apple — App Store distribution and payment processing.
- Cloudflare — hosts the server that handles Ask answers and readings.
- DeepSeek — the AI processor that receives the question text and de-identified chart summary (never your name or contact details, which we don't collect) to compose responses.
We use no advertising networks, no analytics SDKs, and no social plugins.
Your choices and rights
- You can use the entire daily horoscope without anything leaving your device.
- You can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings.
- Deleting the app removes your locally stored data.
- To exercise privacy rights under the laws of your state (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act), or to ask us anything about this policy, email us. Note that because we hold no account data about you, in most cases there is nothing for us to look up, correct, or delete on our side.
Children
Vestara is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
For entertainment purposes
Vestara offers astrological interpretation for reflection and entertainment. It is not medical, legal, or financial advice.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and the effective date above before the change ships.
